Customer Reviewsfrom Greensboro, NC March 21, 2011Music Background: Musician Great Analog SoundI play an American 4-string G&L in a rock band. Sometimes it's really nice to get that fat analog deep sound to kick the subs and enhance the music. I can go down to low a or b quite easily and it just really sits well for some things. For 75 bucks, it's hard to beat. Lots of tone control as well. ONE THING YOU MUST DO THOUGH: Only play one note at a time. This thing is strictly monophonic. If you need a polyphonic octave generator, then EHX makes one (the POG, and Micro POG). This thing will make all kinds of noises if you play two notes at once. So you must be controlled when using it, but heck, i guess you should have some control in general.
