Simply Amazing

I first looked at this pedal because Gary Clark Jr. uses one, so that and the description really sold me. Now that I have it I am totally a Fulltone customer. I catch myself saying, "I forgot how great this thing sounds." every time I turn it on. The range and versatility of this pedal is a marvel. It goes from so clean you can barely tell its on to a fuzz so thick it almost isn't music. I love it. Very simple, sturdy design and a cool color. And I love the knobs on the side that you use to open it instead of a screwdriver. I'm slowly and carefully piecing together my rig and this pedal is a perfect addition.

Great, unique fuzz.

I don't know if I'd call this pedal versatile, but it does cover a lot of ground for a fuzz. It's a great fuzz in the normal mode, but the magic is in that up-octave mode. By working with picking pressure and volume knob, you can coax all kinds of bizarre ring-modulator artifacts out of double stops, palm muting or pinch harmonic techniques. The only reason I gave a 4.5 instead of 5, is that it takes a bit of tweaking to get the gain structure set so it's probably going to seem inconsistent or odd to less experienced players. Tortured funk-rock wailing for days.
