This is an incredible amp. The tone is very tight. It works great with our electric upright, hollow body, and standard electric basses. We've also record with it by using a mic and the direct out. Both produced excellent results so it's a matter of preference. However, I can say without a doubt, that the direct out works fantastic. It's also quite surprising considering the weight. It has quite a punch considering the weight and size! Thus, very portable and perfect for gigs or studio. I would HIGHLY recommend this amp for Jazz, Acoustic Rock, Bluegrass, Country, etc.... close [-] Also popular
