Customer Reviewsfrom Helendale, CA February 27, 2013Music Background: Started playing on Monday after the Ed Sullivan Show Top-Rated Short ScalePlayed a Gibson EB-0 since 1970. Recently looked for a less "bassy" bass and bought 3 others before making this wise decision.I'm a short guy, so 31" is perfect. The problem is none of the SoCal metro stores carry short scale basses. I was forced to buy a Jaguar and a Tele sight unseen online. I even bought the new Warwick Corvette SS. I sent all 3 back for different reasons and contemplated my dwindling choices. I was gun-shy to get another single PU model, but took the plunge after viewing some YouTube vids. The sound is very P-bass and has that trebley twang the band was craving. I run thru a Hartke LH-1000/410XL and the tone is brilliant. Now my amp goes to 11 PROs: Fast Neck, PU, Bridge, Balance, Weight, 40-95 Strings. CONs: Sharp Frets, I swapped the pickguard screws to black. I'm very satisfied...may your way be as happy.
