Customer Reviewsfrom baxley, ga July 5, 2006Music Background: performer, arranger, recorder, trained engineer & musician, blah, blah, blah I purchased it...Yep, I went ahead and purchased the Musician's Bundle until I save enough for the Gold or Platinum bundles. I love the Doubler! I find that I end up using it on most of my prime tracks, especially electric and bass guitars, acoustic guitars, drum loops, and vocals. The Meta-flanger is awesome for special efx, too. If you're new to Waves, get this bundle! I'm loving it more each time I mix. The flexibility is great, and the user presets are usually on-target for what you're looking to do.I recorded a solo vocalist / acoustic guitarist just last week and had a killer mix on all six songs in just under an hour & a half using just the Musician's Bundle plug-ins and a little reverb from my Pro Tools LE rig. Easy and fun to use, while sounding so dang good! For the price, a truly amazing buy!

from Baxley, GA April 27, 2006 Great stuff....I just finished a 14-day trial version of this bundle, and I was very impressed. I'm new to using Waves plug-ins, having just recently purchased my Pro Tools 002 / Mac G5 setup from Sweetwater. While mixing some tracks for a band I was recording, I decided to play around with the trial bundle, and I quickly saw that this is a basic bundle that benefits not just musicians, but vocalists as well. There are certain settings that add space and depth to background vocals, as well as really giving body and presence to electric guitars and drums, or anything that you choose to apply. The Doubler and Super Tap plug-ins are more than worth the price of this bundle alone. I found that certain aspects of my mixing started sounding very, very professional with the implementation of this basic bundle. If you're new to Waves and are on a budget, this bundle is worth purchasing. I'm saving up for the Gold Bundle now. |
