Must Have

These plug ins will take your mixes to the next level. The quality of the Waves bundle speeds up mix time. I did an a/b test with the Waves eq verses the pro tools eq. The waves eq were more responsive and brighter than the pro tool eq. Installation was easy with the assistance of the Waves tech support team whom are awesome. (I needed tech support because I had to downgrade from version 8 to 7). If you have the means get this bundle.

This is an amazing bundle a very reasonable price...my mixes sounded better right away.

Essential

I have dozens of plugins - some costing way more than this bundle - but the RenEQ and Rcomp have been used in almost every session I've done. You really can't go wrong.

There are a lot of plugins for control freaks or for someone wanting "that sound" . Instead, these plugins are easy to use and have just enough characher to be pleasing while still being useful for almost anything you use them on.

And for those that say Waves is "overpriced"? Well, you get what you pay for ya know......

Best deal out there

Waves stuff, in general, is overpriced but this is a great bundle of classics RenComp and RenEQ are still some of the best RTAS plug-ins out there, and Doubler and SuperTap are great tools for bringing tracks to life. A no-brainer for people sick of the stock plug-ins.

Indispensable

Waves isn't known for their low prices, but this bundle could well be the best value in the world of plug-ins. I use every plug-in in this bundle on every song I mix. From the simple (but important) tasks like throwing a quick Highpass Filter on a track, to more involved tempo-synched delays and complicated compression schemes- this product brings it strong. Hats off to Waves for allowing us starving artists to have access to these world-class plug-ins.I can't imagine doing a mix without this bundle of audio goodies.

Best Buy in Plugs out Today

Ok folks -2 reasons why this Bundle II is the best buy out for the money:

1. 5 outstanding plugs that come down to $30 a piece!!! Other â€œfamiliar brandâ€? plugs and the smaller good plugs start at least $50 a piece.

2. Now the real reason being a great buy:
a. RenEQ - Rich sounding analogue style 6 band EQ still being used in large studios all over the world today and you get it for $30.

b. RenComp â€“ Great comp that many other comps are compared to - flexible and very transparent.

c. RenVox â€“ Great simplicity - One knob vocal compressor â€“ nothing like it â€“ sounds outstanding on vocals.

d. Doubler â€“ Unique â€“ beautiful - Complex but has great sounding presets to get you started. This is a must for guitar players to thicken guitars and nice for bass. Put it on an aux send and use it to give nice texture to vocals.

e. Super Tap â€“ Most flexible delay out for the money - with the stereo options you can put your delay anywhere. You also can get simple choruses and there is even a nice Vocal Exciter preset that sounds great for rhythm and acoustic guitars.

And outstanding set of plugs that can enhance any mix â€“ used all over the world.Waves has some of the best and surgical prests available with their plug-ins.

A Must Have!

This is a little bundle that packs a big punch! The Reniassance Vox is great as a track slammer, and the Compressor works on everything from drums to guitars. The EQ is very powerful, allowing for very precise work. My only gripe is that the Reniassance AX sounds tinny. No matter how you have it set, it colors the tone in a very unpleasant way. Other than that, this is a GREAT value and a must have for any project studio!
