More adjustable, stable, and sturdy... plus it's heavy duty enough to hold the weight of that massive five-inch-thick three ring binder that's holding all your music! Mine is there for every band practice and all my solo gigs - I don't know what I'd do without it.

To say it's a tank is an understatement (and who's ever used THAT word to describe a music stand?).
