Great mixer, great price
by Damij from USA, September 2008
Music Background: musician, producer, recording and live sound engineer for a band or two
i wasn't sure about the low price when i was shopping for mixers so i decided to try a brand that i trusted and boy, i made a great decision. this little mixer was the perfect fit in my home studio since i have very limited space and the built in effects are VERY good! a few minutes after hooking this baby up and playing with the effects on my vocals, i found inspiration and began writing. the only complaint i could ever have is that it doesn't have a tray to store cake in.
I own it & I love it!!!!!!!
by J. Fletcher from French Lick,In. USA, January 2008
Music Background: producer& CEO of Mr. Fletcher Productions
I purchased this mixer for the purpose of doing hobby recording, but I've taken this thing to a whole nother level. This has been the drivrng force for Mr. Fletcher productions, great lil' peice of equipment.
Alesis Mix Master Board!
by Thomas Sneddon from Toms River,N.J., January 2008
Music Background: Veteran Recording Hobbyist,Keyboardist & Audiophile
Bought this mixer to upgrade my home theatre on a budget,so this mixer fit the bill quite well.
I discovered though, that the effects are surprisingly clean & stout, making this mixer an ideal recording tool in the studio.
In fact, the effects on the MultiMix 6 FX are so nice, they actually blow away, the effects processor in my Peavey PV10-which I paid $130 more for!!!
If you need a 6 channel mixer with effects on a budget, there's no need to look any further than this mixer...just unbelievable quality for this price range!
Great for the money
by Brian D from Miami, FL USA, July 2006
Music Background: Producer
I bought this when I first started out with production and even though I have better gear now I still choose to use this on certain projects. I find that with electric acoustic guitars plugged in to this thing and using a mild reverb setting it gives a very natural clean sound that works well in the mix. The FX on this unit sound good and are better than most of the plugin FX included with some DAW software packages. For the money this mixer rocks!!
Great Little Board...
by Joe Wiseman from Mobile, AL, May 2005
I needed a small, streamlined mixer for my one man band set up and this little unit tied my rig together nicely. It sounds great and is a breeze to operate. The effects are not tweakable beyond overall level and you can only use one effects patch for all 6 channels. However, the effects themselves are clean sounding and there are several multi-effect patches that can be used. And if you want to add outboard proccessing there is always the aux send. So, I'm running vocals and guitar in mono, a Roland JV 1010 and my soft synths (via a Delta 44) in stereo and I plug the whole mix into a pair of Mackie SRM 450s. I'm very happy with this board. For the price and the features, you can't beat this little guy.
