Six Classic Fuzz Tones in a Single Pedal

Add an entire collection of vintage-inspired tones to your pedalboard with the JHS Muffuletta Fuzz pedal. The Muffuletta starts off with five classic tones derived from one of the most classic fuzz pedals, then adds their own tweaked version for a total of six choices. The Tone, Sustain, and Volume controls let you sculpt your ideal fuzz tone. Musicians have been using these classic fuzz tones for decades to create their signature sounds, and now you can have an entire collection of them in a single pedal with the JHS Muffuletta Fuzz pedal.

Six fuzz tones for sonic versatility

Over the years there have been many incarnations of this classic fuzz pedal, but only the JHS Muffuletta takes five of the most famous ones and shoehorns them into a single pedal. The Muffuletta's Mode selector lets you choose between these five classic models and one original model by JHS. Each mode is shown by an image that represents the graphics found on that era of fuzz pedal. Sweetwater guitarists know that the ability to hit your amp with just the right level is an important ingredient in great guitar tone. When you need a wide rage of fuzz tone, you'll appreciate JHS's Muffuletta fuzz pedal!

  • The Civil War: More mids, less gain, brighter tone
  • The Russian: Less low end, less clarity
  • The Pi: More aggressive sound
  • The Triangle: More low end and articulation
  • '73 Ram Head: Less gain, scooped mids, and darker tone
  • JHS 2015: Less compressed, more power, punchy mids. Great for bass.

Genius Design

Amazing how you can have all of the Big Muffs in one pedal and with such low current draw. All circuit selections sound good on their own.

A great fuzz pedal

This pedal was recommended by my Sales Engineer Josh Strid, I wanted a pedal with some flexibility and he recommended the JHS Muffuletta...great choice. I can dial in the tone I want, gives my Tele' some extra depth. Fun to mess around with the options, you can vary according to song or mood. There are a lot of Fuzz pedals out there and this one is special.

Muffuletta Review

This pedal is just flat-out fun. I play a Strat with Texas Special pickups, through a Deluxe Reverb reissue, and the pedal allows me to attenuate the brightness when needed. Most importantly, it makes my rig sound HUGE, with a tone that's incredibly pleasing to the ear. This is also my first foray into the high-end pedal world. The quality of tone and capabilities of the product was proof positive why one should, when they can, buy a pedal that is created by independent technicians who are fans of/geeks for pedals…the difference is astounding. Thanks JHS and crew!

I can't write a review without also mentioning the outstanding customer service by the Sweetwater staff - including/especially Sales Engineer Will Collins. This is my first purchase with the company, and I was truly floored by receiving a call from Will, just as a follow up on my order, and talking guitars and music. Customer for life!

Not as good as one might think

I was really excited to get this pedal as they say that each muff variant is a completely different circuit.
I have some different Muffs and I thought it would be awesome to have them all in one pedal... the problem is that they don't really sound that different... to my ears just sounds like the gain changes... but not much else... to be honest I prefer my Big Miff deluxe... you can get a lot of different tones with that pedal...
