November 7, 2011 Music Background: Roland Mobile Cube carry case.

If this case was fifteen bucks I suppose it would be worth it, but it's twice that and kind of cheesey for that price. The vinyl material is thin and there is only extra padding on the bottom, all th... read more [+]e other sides are unpadded and do little to protect your Cube, you might as well wrap it in a gym towel. There isn't adequate storage for the optional power supply, it doesn't fit entirely in the mesh pocket or entirely in the case itself, so I've got the actual body of the power supply in the mesh pocket and then route the cords to the inside of the case and lay them on top of the Cube. Roland has really cheapened the Mobile line, I have the Micro Cube and it is amazing, built like a brick house, but the Mobile Cube is fragile looking plastic, and the unadjustable short carry strap (it's a handle folks) flops down right on top of the adjustment knobs. I'm hanging onto it, it does a good job on the acoustic sound, but if you're shopping, get the Micro Cube, a lot of effects, a tuner, pegs to attach a guitar strap, it's louder, looks like an amp (and not a plastic transistor radio) and doesn't need a case because it's built solid. close [-]
