GForce Minimonsta ReviewsSweetwater Advice

The GForce Minimonsta is my go-to bass synth when I'm working in the software realm. Deep, thick, and rich bass tones - and lots of them!
Customer Reviewsfrom Central Oregon May 19, 2012Music Background: Semi-Retired Pro Musician; Recording and Sound Engineer As close as you can getI purchased a real Minimoog in 1975. I would love to have one again, but the Minimonsta in definitely the next best thing (maybe better). With a good pair of speakers or headphones, you would be hard pressed to tell the difference between the two. When I first saw the thing on my computer, I was back in the 70s. The image looks identical to the real thing. I could operate it in my sleep. I like the added features too, such as the delay and polyphony. Plus, all those presets they added. They nailed some of the Wakeman and Emerson sounds. It's morphing capacity is amazing. Works perfectly in live set ups as well as Logic plug-in.from St. Louis Mo. September 27, 2011Music Background: I've been a professional keyboard player for 40 years MinimonstaThe only reason I didn't give this a five is because you can't right click on the controls and assign them to the control of choice. But other than that it's fantastic. For all of you old Moog players this is how you wish the original ones worked. It stays in tune, polyphonic, has on board effects, and it sounds and operates like the original and has a preset bank for quick access to your most used sounds. I would highly recommend this software to anyone who loves that classic sound.
