Vintage Voltage, Modern Accessibility
GForce released the original Minimonsta plug-in to wide acclaim, lauded for its accurate capture of the iconic Model D and augmenting it with tools that allowed for previously unattainable exploration of the classic sound, all while preserving its historic character. With Minimonsta 2, GForce has vastly expanded the sonic topography of the core Model D profile, maintaining its integrity and giving you the tools to take these tones even further. From the vastly expanded preset library and versatile filtering options to the Vintage knob, programmable aftertouch, and plenty more, production pros at Sweetwater agree that the Minimonsta 2 expertly modernizes and tremendously increases the scope of possibilities, bringing the vaunted synth into the modern era.

Don’t call it a facelift — what’s new with 2?
Invariably, we’ve all been disappointed by a supposedly “new” iteration of a plug-in, only to discover that it’s barely more than a makeover. Fortunately, Minimonsta 2 is so much more. The redesigned UI is fully resizable, with a brand-new Preset Browser to make patch discovery and crafting easier than ever. Moreover, Minimonsta 2 has over 800 presets, including legacy sounds and over 300 new ones ripe for exploration. Maintaining the core aural architecture of its predecessor, Minimonsta 2 sees a suite of welcome additions. Sonic sculpting reaches new heights with a unique, bass-preserving ladder filter, as well as alternative 4-stage envelopes and a series of Matrix Reverb effects. You can now access four programmable macros immediately personalizing your Minimonsta experience. Augmented velocity controls are accompanied by programmable aftertouch and the capacity for pulse-width modulation on oscillator one. All of these features — and the included originals — can be further modified with the Vintage knob, masterfully emulating the effects of time to evoke the nuanced, analog imperfections that define our favorite, time-tested synths.
Monsta sound
Like its corporeal counterpart, Minimonsta 2 utilizes a 3-oscillator structure armed with the famously smooth 4-pole, 24db/octave filter, precision ADS envelope generators, and a sonorous, resonant filter. Monophonic, polyphonic, legato, and unison trigger modes allow you to experience the faithful re-creation of the original Model D waveforms in many ways. Onboard FX range from subtle delays to cavernous reverbs, and the cutting-edge X-Modifier technology allows you to modulate almost any parameter via X-LFO and X-ADSR sections. Furthermore, you can warp between and through up to 12 patches in real time.
