Customer Reviewsfrom brooklyn, ny January 6, 2012 Music Background: hobbyist Vox MINI 3 (really great amplifier - love itfrom Castle Rock, Co October 28, 2011 Music Background: Ex-pro folk singer, rock n roll hobbyist The Mini Is MightyI bought this amp because I was looking for a good practice amp. I have other battery amps that just don't cut it sound wise. This little Vox really delivers. I can't find anything I don't like about it. The clean settings are very clean, and the grunge settings are first rate. My acoustic electrics also sound very good, so I have a great amp to use on the patio or at someones house without hauling a lot of equipment. I chose the green one just because it's different. Very impressive for a hundred bucks.I especially like the tweed and Brit amp settings. They are very authentic for such a small package. If I had to use one word, it would be FUN!from Chatsworth, CA October 14, 2011 Music Background: More than a hobby. Exactly what I wanted.Amazing little amp. You could easily use it in the studio with the sound and amp quality this little tike provides. The only thing I would ask for is a direct out; because it sounds so good! You can use the mini headphone out, but... ew.Love it! from NC April 25, 2012 Music Background: hobbyist very cool practice ampI like the simplicity of the usuable effects. Dispite a little hum noise sound is pleasing to the ear to all but the heavy gain settings in which the little speaker loses definition on the bass end. To be expected. Love its portablity and the aux and mic inputs would work well for sidewalk musicians.from Washington DC area September 1, 2011 Music Background: Guitar nut... Nice little amp...I give it 4 stars for a couple of reasons. First there is a little noise running on batteries that is not present when using AC power. The other thing I've noticed is that the tone is a little hollow, I think this may be due to the size of the cabinet and the 5" speaker - I may add a little insulation behind the speaker which may fix it. I have a VT-30 and a VT-50, so this is the perfect addition to my Vox VT family. I keep it on our boat where it has virtually no footprint and the racing green is totally cool... For $99 it's hard to beat, and the folks at Sweetwater are the best to deal with.from Falls Church, VA June 20, 2011 Music Background: Hobbyist Vox Mini 3I mostly use the cleaner models on these amps with reverb. Good sound for it's size. Surprisingly loud for 3 watts. I wish the amp could use rechargeable batteries, otherwise I'd give it a 5.
