This is a go-to compressor/eq

When you want vocal compression, or instrument compression and want it transparent, this is your compressor. When I first got it there was a little problem with the compressor crashing with my DAW, but I worked with Sweetwater tech support, and turned in a trouble tag with Focusrite. Sweetwater tech support duplicated the problem and sent the file to Focusrite. They patched it and it's been perfect ever since. The cool thing about the compressor is that you can blend wet and dry signals. The only downside to the compressor is that you can't side chain with it.

The EQ is very nice, too. I use this package primarily with vocals and acoustic instruments. Again transparent, and clean.

Focusrite Midnight

i really like this because the Focusrite company make good sound equipment. This plugin fits right in.

EQ is very smooth, highpass filter in particular is very musical. Love the variable wet/dry control on the compressor.

Very Nice

These are a step above the Scarlett series. Both are very musical and the built in blend knob makes for effortless parallel compression with no phase/artifact issues inside a DAW without having to use delay compensation, extra bussing, etc. The EQ is very smooth! Even though they are priced very low, these are serious "go to" plug-ins. The feature set is extensive on both. The sound quality and usefulness of these two plug-ins is really incredible and I would highly recommend them!

Great Channel Strip

I think I might have been the first person to buy this from Sweetwater. I loaded the Compression and EQ Plug-In on every channel of my latest song and was blown away, the compression is very nice, suttle, but sweat, the EQ was just unreal, your turn the knbp and you can realy hear it working. This is a great Plug-In to add to your collection at a GREAT Price.

Great versions of great gear

I've used Focusrite blue series modules for almost 20 years. Having plugins that have the same sonic signature are a great help in working to make great sounding music.
