Midi Orchestration text excellent! This is an excellent tool for getting an overall view of the art of writing for the midi orchestra. This is no whimy paperback. It's a beautifully bound expose of grand porportion.
The author takes pains in illuminating "why" certain techniques sound best and others clunky. Well worth the money.
