Portable Phantom Power When You Need It! The Whirlwind MicPower phantom power supply gives you an affordable, portable way to use high-quality condenser microphones with non-powered recorders and mixers. If your recording interface or small-format mixer lacks its own phantom power source, just plug into the Whirlwind MicPower to give your electret condenser mic 12-18V phantom power. It's DC blocked at the output to protect direct-coupled active mic preamps. The MicPower includes a "Battery OK" LED and operates on two standard alkaline 9V batteries.
