Guitarist for a sludge/death metal band.

A Solid Metal Distortion.

The Digitech Metal Master distortion pedal has its bread and butter right in the name: METAL!!! If you want metal tone, look no further.. . However, I reccomend it mostly for experienced shred metalists, as this pedal's tone doesn't do a great job of hiding mistakes, so beware. However, if you're up to the challenge, this is a great and relatively cheap pedal. I highly reccomend it.

digitech metal master

This pedal is absolutly beautiful it's perfect for almost any type of guitarist. if your a person that likes heavy metal this is perfect if your someone who likes 80's rock this is perfect or if you prefer punk rock or emo this pedal does it all. about the only thing you can't get on this pedal is a real fuzz kind of distortion but other than that you can't find much better distortion out there. This pedal is also very easy to use and very durrable because it's made of metal not some cheap plastic. I use this pedal at my band practices and at all of our shows i have no back up because i trust this pedal. about the only thing that i don't like is that it eats up battaries they last about 2 days in it, but o well just dig deep and buy an adapter at wall mart for 10 bucks. this pedal is definatly worth every penny, even though i play through a decent crate 100 watt amp with a b.c. rich warlock guitar this pedal will make even a squire strat package sound damn decent so i would recommend this to anyone out there you won't be disapointed
