The Mephisto combo sports two independent, switchable amplifiers: one voiced as a '50s American amp, while the other sounds like a '60s British amp. Switch between the two to cover massive tonal territory, or combine them for sounds you can't get without dual amplifiers. Depending on how you configure the amps, you'll have 12-, 18-, or 20-watts of power - which means the Bogner Mephisto combo amp is perfect for your studio.

Dual amplifiers for unmatched tonal flexibility
Don't think of the Mephisto as a dual-channel amp, with a "clean" channel and a "dirty" one. Both of the Mephisto's dual amplifiers can go from clean to mean just using your guitar's volume control. You're getting the sound and feel of a '50s American amp, plus a '60s British amplifier, and you can switch between them OR combine them!

Footswitchable power attenuator
The Mephisto sports a variable power attenuator, and you can toggle it with the included footswitch (which also lets you switch or combine amplifiers). Running your amp at low wattage levels is the best way to get cranked-amp tones at civilized volume levels. It's perfect for studio use, especially when you factor in the wide range of tone already offered by the dual amplifier design.
