Melodyne Pitch-shifting Technology in a Compact, Affordable Format Melodyne uno dispenses with the multi-track Arrange window of the larger versions of Melodyne and operates like a normal sample editor, so all you do is load in a file, edit it, save your work, and you're done. There couldn't be a simpler or more intuitive way to benefit from Melodyne's unique editing possibilities. However, Melodyne uno adds two highly useful operating aids. The Correct Pitch macro allows you to correct the pitch of out-of-tune notes and eliminate ugly pitch drift from a recording with just two simple mouse clicks. The Quantize Time macro also offers you a quick and convenient way of correcting timing errors - notes that sound too late or too soon or are held too long or not long enough. Fix Pitch and Timing Errors with Two Simple Mouse Clicks The most common problems encountered when recording are out-of-tune notes and pitch drift. Right behind that are the timing errors, where a sound - let's say a vocal - is heard too early or too late or a note is held too long. Unlimited Creative Possibilities using the Expert Toolbar Like the full-scale versions of Melodyne, the new Melodyne uno gives you the power to edit each note individually. You can modify the pitch, formants, volume, length and position of all or any of the notes in your audio file by simply using the Expert Toolbar. The intuitive user interface makes working within uno a pleasure. No wasted time or energy. What's more, you can also use these powerful editing tools to do more than just fix problems - a whole new world of creative possibilities is open to you. It doesn't matter if you're working on a Windows XP or Mac OSX platform, within a host application or in standalone mode. Melodyne can be run as a master or a slave to a VST, Audio Units, RTAS or DXi host application. Melodyne also runs VST effects and instrument plug-ins under Windows and Mac OSX, as well as Audio Units on the Mac. Both MIDI Time Control and MIDI Clock are also supported.
