Samson MediaOne 4a compact active monitors provide clear, accurate sound with a small footprint. Ideal for desktop audio and video setups, MediaOne 4a monitors are AV shielded for use near computer and video screens. These powered monitors recieve 20 watts of power per side, powering 4" woofers and 25mm tweeters. Precision-tuned, rear-vented cabinets help to provide a surprisingly robust low end, while allowing the speakers to stay cool. Each pair includes a "master control" speaker with front-panel level control and a headphone jack. Go small and sound big with the MediaOne 4a!

After listening to these monitors in the Sweetwater retail store, I was truly blown away with the punch and clarity coming from this unbalanced, 4" pair.

As always, my Sweetwater rep,... read more [+] Adam, was very helpful and demo'd these with one of the floor keyboards.

I'm using them in my home studio for quick track monitoring. These are not meant to be true studio monitors, but I think you get exactly what you can expect for a solid pair of speakers priced right at $150/pr.
