Based on the effects found in the KSP8, the Mangler offers easy-to-use effects for any environment. It is a single rack space units which features 192 effects presets, 64 user locations, balanced stereo analog inputs and outputs, SPDIF digital I/O, and pre-effect EQ.

The Mangler focuses on effects other than, but not excluding, reverb, featuring chorus, flanger, phaser, tremolo, rotary speaker, panner, delay, filters, LaserVerb, Pitcher, synth trigger, ring mod, distortion, and compression effects, and many combinations.

The Mangler also serves as an introduction to the world of Kurzweil effects for anyone considering adding a KSP8, Kurzweil's flagship multi-channel effects processor, to their home or pro studio.
