Customer Reviewsfrom Nyc March 21, 2012Music Background: Musician Massive power computerGreat computer if your serious about recording music 8 cores for sufficiant power for any dawfrom Hampton, VA February 8, 2012Music Background: Studio Owner / Hobbyist Powerhouse Computer - Fantastic Design!First of all I want to comment of the design of the computer housing. The modular design is the best I have ever seen. The sturdy aluminum case and sliding modular racks make it very easy to add memory chips. The Hard Drive bays are just as easy to work with. I now have a total of 4 hard drives installed inside my computer. It is a brilliant design. The Magic mouse is cool and fun to use. If you are big into short cuts in Protools you may not miss the right and left-click option that the magic mouse cannot perform. I need that for editing. So I just hooked up my track-ball mouse to the included keyboard. It was easy and fast to reinstall protools, my virtual synths and my plug-ins. It was even faster than I expected, I guess the DVD drive is faster and the 8-cores can work much faster to install the programs. Sweetwater tech support also gave a helping hand on a few glitches along the way (read as operator error). Thanks to all including my Sweetwater sales rep David Hess (1398) from New York December 7, 2011Music Background: Professional Musician Very PleasedNo more latency with PT!! Because of the fast processor I can take it down to 128 in the buffer and no problems yet. Very happy.from New Milford, CT January 27, 2012Music Background: Music Producer / Recording Engineer Power House...Lots of power.. only issue is Magic Mouse has connection issues at times.
