Customer Reviewsfrom Williams, OR February 27, 2013Music Background: Pro Musician/Singer-Songwriter Great speakersThese speakers have been perfect for the smaller venues on this tour. They have clarity, presence and plenty of power. Nice and light to carry.from November 11, 2011 Excellent Active SpeakerI own 3 of these. Love the dual inputs and EQ. My daughter uses one for her keyboard in her band. My band uses a pair for medium or small venues. Crisp sound. So far they are durable and reliable. Great as monitor or FOH.from Central Pennsylvania August 18, 2011Music Background: Owner of "His Voice Sound" Yahama MSR250's Deliver !I bought these for use in a worship setting for stage monitors, the flexibility of the angled back and pole mounting led me later to use them for back channel fill and even the teen talent show mains !The sound is great for their size and weight, they didn't run hot even during the 95+ degree weather and being on their sides. Great value for the price point, I would recommend these when evaluating speakers that are planned for multiple uses. from Chicago April 11, 2013Music Background: Home and small studio recording and performaces A big step up from the MSR100I tried the MSR100 because I only needed it for a small, indoor space. I was thinking "why pay more for 250 watts". But this speaker blows away the MSR100, even at low levels. The MSR100 is of good quality, but is more geared toward portability or consumer electronics. The MSR250 is serious gear for pro audio, and just reeks high-end quality like most Yamaha products.
