Memory Stick download problems

The MAJOR PROBLEM (which is practically a deal-breaker) is that when I try to down load directly to Pro Tools in my computer, ONLY the built-in memory shows up! The folders I had been using showed up EMPTY on the computer until I realized the computer was only showing the built-in memory folders, NOT the memory stick folders. I couldn't find any way to access the Memory Stick digitally from my computer, and of course there was no help for this in the instruction booklet.
My work-around was to use the analog LINE OUT into Pro Tools (via M-Audio interface also purchased from Sweetwater). But I could not download anything from the Memory Stick digitally!
This is an irritating inconvenience, and a design defect so far as I can tell. close [-]
