That's because this heavy-duty microphone stand features an integral air suspension system, designed to protect your sensitive microphones. Beyond that, the Atlas Sound MS25E is adjustable, to suit varying setups. It can extend up to 62" in height, thanks to its oversized 7/8" and 1-1/8" diameter tube assembly. When I have enough money for a second it will be my next purchase. This stand is expensive with a boom but it is worth every penny. All metal parts. Built like a tank. You will be glad you bought it.
