The Multi Platinum Multi-Platinum University

Excellent. Tons of great advice. If you always wanted to look over a pro's shoulder to see what exactly they do, here's your ticket.
Also, I thought I'd mention, I use Cubase, not PT. You can do it all in Cubase, and I imagine, all major DAWs.

MPPT = Priceless!

I am a former student of the guys, and a friend of one...I attended MTSU and graduated from their Recording Industry Department, one of the top in the world. I know two of these guys personally and I have seen them in action. You are not only getting three of the best Pro Tools instructional DVDs available, you are getting $30,000 worth of world-class education. We actually used their book in class, which I highly recommend buying. Words cannot describe how valuable these DVDs are, and have become to me. I constantly use them, day in and day out. MPPT IS PRICELESS!

AMAZING!!!!!!!

This is by far the best instructional Pro Tools DVD set ever. Rather than just giving you information, they SHOW you. Which is the key. You literally get to sit with John Merchant and watch him mix. What could be better than that? He shows you how to set up your session, editing techniques, mixing techniques, and best of all, he explains everything he is doing in great detail. Some of the stuff shown you may know, some you may not. Either way, you'll definitely gain knowledge from the experience. I drove all the way out to Sweetwater from Cleveland, OH to attend the Multi Platinum Pro Tools Workshop with John Merchant. It cost me about a 4 hour trip, gas, and then money for the DVD set. Was it worth it? 100% yes. Everything shown at the workshop was a fragment of what you get on the DVD's. All of my questions were answered, and I am definitely making better mixes already. There is a huge difference in the sound I was getting in my mixes before, to the sound I am getting now. I definitely suggest picking this set up if you need to learn mixing techniques.

THIS COURSE IS AMAZING!

I was really tired of the same boring pro tools videos and books that only teach you the basics or take way too long to finally talk about mixing or more serious topics. I bought the multiplatinum university course and i have to say It's amazing! I love the fact that they provide the same sessions the instructor is working on to follow along, for me thats the best way of learning, it's a hands on experience. I would recommend it to anyone looking not only to get better in pro tools, but to become a pro editor, and have real secrets from a pro mixer. This dvd has it all

Very Informative

Great product!!! A wealth of information for beginners and intermediates, I know I learned a lot and my mixes are really sounding a lot better. I even recommended it to a friend who is in the business and he is not disappointed.
