Pro engineering for the pro engineer
Rane understands the pressures on studio and live sound engineers, and has packed the MLM 82S with professional construction and features to meet these damands. Built like a brick, the MLM 82S sports four balanced XLR mic/line inputs (with 15V phantom power), cool, bi-color signal present/overload indicators, trimless mic pres, four balanced stereo TRS line inputs, and even a front-panel A / A+B / B switch to assign each channel to your choice of output(s). You also get an internal power supply - no annoying wall warts here!

Flexibility is the key
The Rane MLM 82S features output level controls to set the master mix level independently for the A and B outputs. With the mix amplifiers having their own overload indicators, to correct for any overload condition, you can reduce the level of the entire mix and/or the individual input channel levels. Further, the A and B mix outputs are each fitted with an internal switch for padding the output signal downto mic level. (Factory default is Line level.)
