The item worked exactly as expected. I have an old Yamaha keyboard with a MIDI IN/OUT. That, plus some MIDI cables, are all you need to transform any instrument you have into a MIDI controller in your DAW (pro tools, in my case). Only one piece of advice to spare you some trouble. Don't use the drivers that install automatically when you plug in the USB. Pop in the CD that comes with the product and click on the link to get the updated drivers. That cost me a day's worth of frustration.

Works Great

This product works great with my Line 6 POD HD500 and MacBook Pro and haven't had any issues.

THIS IS MY SECOND MIDI SPORT. IT HAS NEVER GIVEN A MOMENTS PROBLEM. FOR THE MONEY IT IS THE BEST AROUND. A #1 SWEETWATER IS THE BEST.

For anyone in need of a quick and reliable single midi connection to a computer, this is a good device.
It works very well right out of the box.
Easy to install and solid.
