The item worked exactly as expected. I have an old Yamaha keyboard with a MIDI IN/OUT. That, plus some MIDI cables, are all you need to transform any instrument you have into a MIDI controller in your... read more [+] DAW (pro tools, in my case). Only one piece of advice to spare you some trouble. Don't use the drivers that install automatically when you plug in the USB. Pop in the CD that comes with the product and click on the link to get the updated drivers. That cost me a day's worth of frustration. close [-]
