Marshall MG412A Cabinet

This Marshall compact 4X12 cabinet with the 30w Celestions is easy to overdrive but has great bottom-end with alot of crunch. I run a Marshall AVT50w head through this cabinet and it is as loud as my older Marshall Super Lead 100 heads were. This cabinet has alot of crunch but does not mush out with high gain at lower volumns. At 65 lbs. it doesn't break your back like the old 1960A or B cabinets weighing 100 lbs.

The only reason i didnt give it a 5.0 is that its pretocessors will not just blow your mind but your whole head off. I traded my CRATE GLX 212 in with cash for this cabinet and its counter part the HDFX 100 head. I now play it with a boss gt8. I get searing tone,harmonics, and that legendary crunch with this cabinet that you can only get through MARSHALL not CRATE. I really cant say enough about marshall as a company and this will not be my last cabinet amp from the company that redefined the guitar.

I am running a 50w old-school KRANK head and this cab sounds GREAT through this cabinet. Tons of bottom end. My settings are Bass 10 Mid 7 Treble 7 Presence 10 Master 3. TIght speakers, driven easily. NOT a waste of money. Guitar Center retails this cab for roughly $499 and I have seen it at other places for $449. Sweetwater's price at $314 is a smokin' deal.
