The Boss ME-20B is the next evolution in great bass guitar effects pedals.
Customer Reviewsfrom Golden, CO, USA January 26, 2011 Music Background: Musician. Bass player Amazing pedalHonestly, this is a great pedal. It has a ton of effects (as many as you would ever possibly need and tons more), it's easy to use and program, you can get really precise custom tones, plus it has a built in volume/wah pedal and a tuner. There are so many patches for your own tones, and it has not broken and Boss is usually incredibly tough. For the price, I'm very pleased with this pedal. Get it!Only two minor complaints, which aren't major at all. One is that I find the built-in noise threshold to be unnecessary, and simply limits the tone about around 20, I keep it at 5. Also, the tuner isn't as accurate as a chromatic one, but it does work pretty well. Love the pedal, it will elevate your bass sound to the next level defiantly. from Charlotte, NC September 20, 2007 Music Background: Pro Musician & Producer This Pedal "IS" The Boss!!!I have been a performing artist now for close to 30 years and have had several old school pedals to hard to replace pedals that I purchased while performing in Japan and this by far is the best multi-effect pedal I've found out on the market. I recently purchased this to replace what I lost in a fire and this baby's got the goods. To begin with, it's very user friendly in editing any patch stored, EQ settings and you can create 30 patches of your own sounds. It comes loaded with the hottest in vogue sounds any Bassist would want to dial up on demand ie. a very clean "Defretter" tone. Also, it has the best Tuner I've seen where you can even tune to any sharp (C#, D#) you require. Also it's Plug & Play ready as it comes with 6 alkaline batteries to get you started right away. But the biggest feature I love about this pedal is you get the best sound and the most bang for your buck!!! The only draw back (not that big of a deal) is the Expression Pedal size is small. You just have to adjust with good foot placement when using it as a Volume/Wah Pedal. I highly recommend this to any Bassist in search of the "One Pedal to Rule them all". |
