All I gotta say is you must cop this product. It will become part of your life once you get one. It does take skill for the installation and configurations. You must be knowledgeable with computers. So you can't complain about this product giving you headaches and so on. Digital isn't something that stays perfect.

If you are looking to get into a professional world of recording, this is your best way to do it. At a price that this item goes for you get all the tools that you need to record and premaster your sessions.
The bundle includes a training DVD which will get you up and running in no time, plus a lot of different plug ins which will help you to achieve the audio level that you want.
The only thing that leaves you wanting more is the need for more inputs:) I am a satisfied buyer.

Mbox 2 Vs Mbox

well it looks like an improvement, but it is still USB 1.1 and no inserts on the Mbox 2, only on the old mbox, other than that nothing special, it actually sounded a little muddy playing itunes, when I A/B it with the Firepod there was no comparison, the Firepod sounded crisper and cleaner,wider, and much louder on the headphone outputs too, Don't get me wrong , Mbox 2 is a cool piece with midi and great software bundle, I just think the hardware part could be better like the mic pres are only ok at best but I guess your paying for the software nowadays.
