I am a first time Mac buyer and I am impressed with the service and the Mac. When I bought the Mac I decided to approach its OS as if I knew nothing and just focus on what was being taught to me in the manual and videos, and I find this to be an enjoyable system to own. Much of the Mac is adapted to your natural reactions and movements, I like it!

My Wife's First Mac ...

I hadn't used a Mac in years, 'til last fall I bought myself a Macbook Pro. Not sure why I did - I'm quite happy using a PC with Windows, but I was in the market for a new laptop and this model appealed to me. After I got it, my wife kept pestering me with questions about this 'n' that: how does the touchpad work? Where's this? How does the screen look? How does it integrate with our phones? Our iPods? Is it easy to use? How does it compare to Windows 7? Can I try it? etc. Yes, dear, it's a bit different from a PC, but it works just fine and when you get used to it, you'll love it. With that, it soon became clear that she would have to have her own.

So I bought her this one.

Same model as mine, but when it showed up, I realized it's just slightly faster and has a bigger hard drive.

Rats.

Now I want hers.
