Packed with power, RAM, and storage
The Apple 13" MacBook Pro features a blazing-fast 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and comes standard with 2GB of RAM that's expandable to 8GB. There's also a 160GB hard drive, which provides room for storage, as well as two USB 2.0 ports, one FireWire 800 port, an SD card slot, a MiniDisplay port, Ethernet, and audio line in and line out ports.

Elegant unibody enclosure
To create the MacBook Pro 13", Apple's design and engineering teams devised a way to replace many parts with just one. That one part is called the unibody — a seamless enclosure carved from a single piece of aluminum. The new MacBook Pro 13" starts life as a single piece of aluminum, and when you pick it up, you immediately notice the difference. The entire enclosure is thin and light. It looks polished and refined. And it feels strong and durable — perfect for life inside (and outside) your briefcase or backpack.

Ports with possibilities
Every MacBook Pro 13" is iPod, iPhone, digital camera, and external hard drive ready. You'll find two USB 2.0 ports and a FireWire 800 port for connecting faster peripherals. The Mini DisplayPort is a perfect fit for the Apple LED Cinema Display. MacBook Pro even recognizes what you plug in, so you don't have to install new drivers. Plus, new to this generation, you can easily transfer your photos, videos, and SD recordings to and from your MacBook Pro 13" just as fast as you're able to take them. Built into the 13" MacBook Pro is a new SD card slot, so you can edit and share your photos, digital video, and recordings on the spot.

Multi-touch trackpad
The new MacBook Pro 13" trackpad has no button because it is the button. That means there's more room to track, more room to click — left, right, center, and everywhere in between — and one less part. Apple designers and engineers spent countless hours considering things like sensitivity (how much pressure triggers a click?), audio feedback (what does the click sound like?), and friction over the smooth glass surface (what does it feel like?). And that's just the hardware. Apple software engineers had a large part to play in the development of the trackpad, too. They incorporated Multi-Touch gestures, including swipe, pinch, rotate, and four-finger swipe. The result is the largest, smartest, most ergonomic MacBook Pro trackpad ever. It's one of many details considered and reconsidered during the design process of the MacBook Pro 13".

The longest-lasting Mac notebook battery ever
Built right into each of the new MacBook Pro 13" notebooks is a breakthrough battery that lasts dramatically longer and does so without increasing the size or weight of MacBook Pro 13". On a single charge, the battery in the new MacBook Pro 13" lasts up to 7 hours and can be recharged up to 1000 times.That's compared with only 200 to 300 times for typical notebooks. Advanced chemistry and Adaptive Charging allows the battery to maintain charging capabilities longer and determines the optimal way to charge the battery's cells. Because the battery lasts up to five years, MacBook Pro 13" uses just one battery in the same time a typical notebook uses three. That makes for less waste. And that, in turn, makes for one environmentally friendly battery.

Graphics in full force
The MacBook Pro 13" reaches a new level of high-speed, high-end game-playing power. Not to mention pure performance for such graphics-intensive applications as Aperture and Motion. The power-saving NVIDIA GeForce 9400M integrated graphics processor inside every MacBook Pro 13" is great for everyday performance, while delivering long battery life.

Built-in 802.11n and Bluetooth wireless technology
With the latest 802.11n wireless technology built into MacBook Pro 13", you're always seamlessly and effortlessly connected to the wireless world out there, at home, and at work. MacBook Pro 13" automatically finds available networks and allows you to join them with just one click. Buetooth capabilities are also built in, so brilliant accessories can become your wireless accomplices. 8x DVD-burning SuperDrive with dual-layer support
