Coleman Audio MB 4 Quad VU Meters The adavantage of an analog VU meter is that it provides a visual representation of transients that may not be as apparent in LED segment meters. A light meter can be off as much as 1db per segment, which can cause an imbalance in the mix buss, tape copy or broadcast feed. The VU meter has long been the standard for audio levels in the recording and broadcast industry. The Coleman Audio MB 4 allows you to monitor stereo pairs or four independent tracks at a glance. These high quality meters can be used for many applications: recording studios can keep track dual mix busses, a sound reinforcement engineer can monitor house and stage levels, audio/video computer based editing systems can keep track of inputs and outputs.
