Great amp. Nice and light and loud.

A fine bass amp

I've played out with the GK MB210 500W combo and it really packs a lot of punch. Enough to get me by our obnoxious keyboard player who plays too loud and would sometimes play my lines and he would would overpower my bass while he would be in the B-3 mode. Not anymore. I also have the GK MBP112 200W and it's a wonderful amp for smaller venues.

Excellent bass amplification!

Great lightweight amp

Couldn't be happier with this Amp!Looks a lot heavier than it is.It produces great low end especially for a 2x10.Amazing really.I find myself turning down the bass often.I paired this with the GK 15" bottom and it shakes the room! A little pricey but worth it.plenty of volume as a stand alone and more than enough with an extension cab.A little over a grand for the whole setup and it blows similarly priced Ampeg away. , plus made in USA!Get one today!

Big Sound; Quality Sound

Just used the MB 210-II combo bass amp for the first time. Outdoor gig playing with two loud guitarists and drummer and this combo amp exceeded my expectations. People approached me and complimented the sound of my bass! (and my bass playing, of course).
I am throughly impressed with this combo amp and it's only 39 lbs!

Absolutely love it!

I bought this little combo at the end of August. At the time, Sweetwater was out of stock on the GK MB115-II 1x15 combo, so I went with this one instead. I'm really glad I did. It has more power than the MB115 and with the "Chain Out" for self powered cabs & an "Extension Out" for non powered cabs it is probably the most versatile of the GK MB series combos.

At first I was worried about would two 10s really be able to push the low ends? But that hasn't been an issue at all. I'm playing an Ibanez SR400EQM (also purchased from Sweetwater) through it. And the combination of the two will do some serious window rattling. I run the amp's eq flat, and adjust my tone from the eq on the bass.

I use this at home for practice, and a weekly gig backing up an acoustic set that sometimes uses a Gretsch hollow body electric, sometimes two vocalists, sometimes two guitarists, and sometimes a harmonica, that is all ran through a PA system. I don't run through the PA even though the combo has a DI out. There's been no need to. I don't even get the volume up much past 9 O'Clock with the gain and boost both set to noon.

I do plan on adding a GK CX 115 1x15 cab to my gear lineup in the near future to open up the full power capability of this combo from 350 to 500 watts. Don't need to, but want to. And if I ever find myself needing more, well there's self powered GK cabs that will run off the "chain out" system they have built into their combos that I could add as well. When you think about the GK MB combo system, and it is a system for sure, it's as expandable as you need it to be and more.

And the portability is mind blowing. I use to lug around a cab that had a single 18 and two 10s, weight, 93 lbs. At 43 lbs the GK is half that, and the sound is actually much better too.
