From Our Research Team:A Pop Filter with Double Protection Against Plosives!Unobtrusive and built to last, the Music Accessories Split Screen Pop Filter gives you pro-quality performance with a 12" gooseneck for easy positioning. If you ever record or broadcast vocals, you need one of these in your mic locker. We've heard too many vocal recordings ruined for one simple, preventable reason... there was no pop filter. The Split Screen Pop Filter goes between the vocal microphone and the vocalist, preventing explosive sounds from "popping" too much air into the microphone and messing up the take.Music Accessories Split Screen Pop Filter at a Glance:
Great vocal recordings every time Pop filters are a must-have tool in any recording studio engineer's toolbox. Plosive sounds, like "P" and "B", wreak havoc on vocal recordings. The sudden burst of air pressure can create a thump louder than your kick drum track! Leave the Split Screen Pop Filter on your mic stand, and you'll permanently enhance your vocal recordings. Dual-screen design The secret to the Split Screen Pop Filter's mojo is its dual-screen design. That's two layers of protection to break up the biggest bursts of air pressure, without changing your sound. Adjustable and easy to use The Split Screen Pop Filter attaches to your mic stand with a simple clamp, and the adjustable gooseneck makes positioning easy. I've gone through a couple pop screens and this is by far the best one I've owned. The pop filter stays in place, a problem I've had constantly with other pop filters. Nice quality and again once ad... read more [+]justed it stays in place. Great product close [-]

This seems to be a quality pop filter, and it has done a good job for me, even though I've only used it for a couple of tracks. The only reason I gave it less than five stars is that it is a little di... read more [+]fficult to get adjusted. The reason for that is that the gooseneck is tight so, once you have it in place, it stays where you put it. It seems completely transparent acoustically, but I'm no expert and my ears may be experienced, but they're also old, so don't take that for an expert opinion. All in all, I think this is an especially good value. close [-]

Ok pop filters are not the most fancy thing to write a review about, but someone has to.I get alot of rappers in my studio and some female R&B singers i had been using some other pop filters but still ... read more [+]getting some pops,i would sometimes use two filters to help get the pops and sss out. This led to having a lot of xtra weight on the stand more things for the singers to knock around and hit leading to more problems and do overs. So i saw the MA-SS-B at Sweetwater called my rep and he gave me good advice on this product. Iam preety happy with it.It has helped control alot of pops that you get and cut down alot on the sss. I did have a little problem with the goose neck it seems a little tight and some times hard to get into the right spot but with a little work you can make it work. With male vocals it handled every thing that i have put in front of it. With female vocals it handled the sss good i had a little problem with one female singer who has a very powerfull voice on poping some b's and p's but had her move back a little mic movement and everthing worked out fine. So this is a good product i give it a 4 only because of the goose neck but it looks good and singers like getting in front of it. close [-]
