Customer Reviewsfrom United States January 18, 2012 This speakers is perfect to have.this speakers sound so great and it's small and also it's a great price for a good speakers. i recommended to have it.from Vienna, VA USA February 22, 2009 Music Background: Hobbyist Perfect sound and size for it's priceI needed an economy priced pair of monitors for my music making. I choose the MA-15D after researching a little. I've had these for a few months now and they've functioned perfectly. The two line inputs are great, especially the optical S/PDIF. I run an optical from my Edirol UA-25EX into line 1 and a line out from my MacBook Pro into the stereo RCA on line 2. The bass enhancer isn't really needed, as the speakers seem nicely balanced without it. I'm slightly confused why Edirol has a subwoofer jack without offering a subwoofer in this model range. Another thing that surprised me was how solid the construction was. The right speaker has some weight to it. I can't really compare these to professional monitors, but for the price, they have a nice presence. Overall, I'm quite happy with the purchase and might consider getting a second pair for my home.from Long Beach, California, USA August 29, 2008 Music Background: Hobbyist Great Sound At A Reasonable PriceTwo deciding factors led me to these monitors: connectivity and price. I wanted a set of monitors that I could hook up to my Mac Pro desktop computer (to watch movies, listen to music, and edit videos in Final Cut Pro), but I also wanted to connect to my Mbox 2 Pro audio recording interface at the same time, and I wanted the capability to adjust the volume for the Mac and the Mbox independently. Well, in walked these beauties. Now my Mac Pro is outputting crisp digital audio via the S/PDIF optical connection, and I can monitor Pro Tools sessions through my Mbox 2 Pro's monitor outs, using affordable 1/4" phono-to-RCA cables. There's one volume knob for the "Digital/Line 1" input (the Mac Pro) and one volume knob for the "Line 2" input (the Mbox). It's exactly what I needed, at a price that was low enough not to break the bank, but high enough that I felt I was getting a quality product. I've been using these monitor for 4 or 5 months now, without any problems. And I must say I'm continuously impressed by the bass response of these relatively small monitors. I admit I was quite wary of the "Bass Enhancer" technology when I ordered these monitors, but the bass sounds great -- and it's just so nice not to have to cram a subwoofer under my desk anymore! I would highly recommend these monitors to anyone working in their home or a small office who's also budget-conscious. For the price, these can't be beat.
