An Intelligent Re-think of the Guitar Case

The MONO Vertigo Guitar Case is designed to accommodate the way we often reach for our guitars: out of the side of a partially unzipped case while standing up. Guilty as charged! We've all done it, but now MONO's done something to address this haphazard (and potentially hazardous-to-your-axe) operation - the Vertigo loads from the top. It gives your guitar maximum protection, too. On the bottom, there's an EVA insole and a molded rubber outsole (The Boot). It also features MONO's Headlock neck suspension system. Cool Gig Bag

Bought this for an ESP EC-1000. Works good. The next support is highly secure-the rubber base is solid. It could use an extra pocket for picks and a small tuner. Aside from that it's excellent.

Extremely protective!

This thing is incredible. I'm not sure which is more secure, a traditional hard case or this thing. Maybe a hard case has slightly more crush resistant, but for everything else this thing is unbelievable. The neck support is really nice, it sandwiches the neck between two foam blocks and holds it very securely. The extra padding at the bottom with the little strap button cut out ensures there's good contact between the foam and the guitar to cradle it from impacts better.
Luckily I haven't dropped a guitar in this thing, but I'm positive the guitar would be fine if it happens.
It's pricey, but worth it if you really treasure your instrument.

Best Guitar Gig Bag for the Money

I now use Mono bags exclusively; they're worth the extra cost for the quality zippers, pockets, and padding.

With Sweetwater, you can always reach out to your rep for advice on what's best for your budget, so def do that, but for me, Mono bags are the ones that have lasted, for years, the best. By far the best, tbh.

Easy to store and carry. Plenty of protection. Fits my Warmoth Jazzmaster perfectly.

Mono Vertigo

This is my second Mono case now. I had gotten the acoustic sleeve that I use for my Gibson ES-165, and wanted a nice bag to carry my solidbody guitars around. I wanted something I felt comfortable carrying onto an airplane and asked Casey if he thought the electric version of the sleeve would be suitable for that. He recommended the Vertigo, and with his recommendation, I bought the Vertigo. As always I am super pleased with my purchase. I use my Mono Vertigo just about daily and though have not yet flown with it, I feel completely comfortable doing so.
