It combines elements of TC Electronic's famous M5000; a newly-developed, multi-channel version of VSS technology; and state-of-the art mastering technology with a stunning new multi-channel processing platform. What this means for you is room/environment simulation at an unbelievable level of realism, the kind that completely draws your listeners into the sound. You get multi-channel, multi-band Dynamics processing, with four-band processing of multi-channel audio, including expander, compressor and final sample accurate brickwall limiter. Sample rates up to 96kHz are covered. MD2 algorithm from M5000 has been improved to MD3, incorporating dual mono modes, sample accurate brickwall limiter and 96kHz operation. Multi-channel pitch change processing is also available. The System 6000 represents an exciting opportunity for any audio professional eager to explore the possibilities of multi-dimensional sound. Comes with 8 channels of AES/EBU digital I/O (four stereo pairs) via a DB25 connector. You also get 3 expansion slots for adding two, four, or up to six channels of analog I/O.
