Great Strings for practice now & then. Fantastic for burning up some faster Acoustic Zeppelin. I throw on a pair myself every now & then, but I mostly stick with the Lights. It's nice ... read more [+]to start youngsters & beginner students on these strings because they can fret better & they won't get discouraged & give up, so the first thing I always do is change their strings to Martin Extra Lights. I love for people to learn Guitar. I can't stand when they get discouraged & quit. These strings enable me to start them out & then move them on up to the heavier guages. close [-]
