This apple logic program it is really easy to use. The sound is really Good!
It has a a lot of loops and cools drum sounds. Some great effects. This would be perfect for your home studio, you wont have to buy any delay or reverb effects or compression if you dont want to, they sound that good all built into one program.
If you have a good mic like $100 SM-57, and good Mic Preamp you are going to get a really good sound from this program. I dont use the compression on my recordings I think it sounds better without compression, but that is up to you to decide.
This is a great product. It is well worth the money.

I was using Protools LE previous to purchasing Logic Express. I am a college student and money is tight. However, I was not satisfied with being limited to digidesign's hardware. I purchased a Motu traveler and Logic Express and I cannot imagine being more satisfied. Logic is a wonderful program and I found it very easy to make the switch.
