Good first interface!!

I purchased the Link.USB because of it's low price and some positve reviews. I have to say I have not be completely impressed by it, but one cannot expect greatness from a product at such a low price. With that said the pre's are half way decent, yet a bit harsh (No warmth here!), and the latency is a bit more than I care for (USB not Firewire). However, for those who might be reading this review trying to decide on a first interface this is a good choice. I must warn you; once you develop a solid (or maybe even semi-solid)audio engineering base you will want more out of your interface than the Link.USB can deliver.
