Very Special For Recording

I was attracted to this guitar based on hearing it on various recordings and at concerts - not just from Al Di Meola. It was actually far better than I expected. The construction, inlays, setup are superb - a lot more quality than the better known guitar companies would offer at this price. On recordings it really has something special, allowing for a great alternative to the more recognized everyday acoustic sounds. If you plug it in direct you will get that classic "Al Di Meola Ovation" sound, but I find that recording it with a microphone is even better. You can see and hear that the artist was involved and that a lot of care went into this signature model.

Could be great

The high E string on my guitar is weak in punch compared to the rest of the strings, as specially compared to the B string. It is also week on clarity.
When plugged into an amp it is not as noticeable. If this problem could be corrected on my guitar it would be a great guitar.
