The 300-watt LM-300 is built to be a powerful, versatile tone tool, and that build quality extends to its rugged heavy steel housing. This head's two distinctive channels provide great EQ adjustability, and its SansAmp XLR output lets you blend any amount of direct tone with the tube-style flavor of the LM-300 for amazing bass sound!Tech 21 LM-300 2-channel Bass Amplifier Head at a Glance:
Killer bass tones Two differently formatted channels deliver everything from warm classic tube-style tones to Sumo-sized distortion. This 2U, 300-watt rackmountable head features a fan-cooled chassis and is equally at home in a rack system or as a compact stand-alone head. Heavy-duty The LM-300 is housed in a heavy gauge steel case that's tough enough to take on tour. With pro features like a +10dB gain switch to enhance low output pickups and drive active pickups harder, and an XLR direct output, this amp will quake the bedrock live and in the studio. XLR output The LM-300's onboard SansAmp XLR output works like a built-in direct box to deliver the true tone of the amp to the PA desk or studio board without compromising detail, warmth or responsiveness. The XLR is switchable from -20dB to 0dB. Gain is a 10dB gain boost to set up the pre-amp for different pickups. For example, with lower output, passive pickups, you can get punchier sounds with Gain engaged. Conversely, with higher output, active pickups, you can have a cleaner sound with Gain disengaged. The Tech 21 LM-300 gives you a powerful, flexible bass amp head for stage and studio!

You get every single amp sound you want plus you can dial in a tone to cut through the mix of 2-3 guitar players that are sucking up alot of the low end that the bass should be handling. You can't buy a better built or better sounding amp for under a grand.. hell even 3 grand. Get one and it will be the last amp you will ever buy. close [-]
