Customer Reviewsfrom visalia,ca. July 24, 2006 Music Background: hobbyist who loves guitars SAW IT AND HAD TO PLAY IT!HEY FOR WHAT IT IS I DO THINK ITS AN INCREDIBLE LITTLE DUDE!(GUITAR :)) i love this thing,, i really do. its a novelty item yes, but soooo much more. sweet looking incredibelly sweet sounding guitar.especially considering its size and purpose. craftsmanship and feel of this little guy is as good as my taylor 314ce or my martin d-15 rosewood, takamine eg531sc. im not kidding its the real deal just smaller. it has sustain , punch ,clear note separation and it fun to own and play!! the thing stays in tune like a 1500 dollar guitar. its not a toy, its the first little guitar ive played that sounded really high quality.and it is, i bought it and i am reaaly proud of it,i love playing for people who think its one of those little target or toys r us christmas guitars.DUDES...its all Martin! ive never played or even seen the baby taylors,im sure theyre nice too,( i own two taylors 110 and 314ce)but this is MY LITTLE MARTIN and i love to play it. every guitar enthusiast needs to have one of these, they rock!from North Carolina July 28, 2008 Music Background: guitar player for over 30+ years Great travel Guitar - quality is suspectGreat travel Guitar - quality is suspect. Good size and super sound quality and volume for a travel guitar....so it has been well designed. Manufactured of composite in Mexico...the quality of manufacture may be suspect...16 months after purchase the top is coming un glued from the side panels. Never dropped or damaged.

January 1, 2004 Little MartinExtremely solid feeling small bodied guitar - similar in size to the Baby Taylor. Made out of high presssure laminate which makes it feel heavier and more solid than most small guitars. Sound is darker and deeper than the Baby Taylor. Not better than the Taylor, just different. Way better than the BackpackerIt would probably make a great beach guitar since the laminate body would be more resistant to the salt air, humidy and tempature changes than a wood guitar. Not a concert instrument, but something I would love to have on a long trip. |
