Avid guitar player

Beautiful instrument

Bought this for my daughter who wanted one for Christmas. Looked it over and I was very happy with how it looked, felt and sounded. Again, I was very awed at how quickly Sweetwater responded with my order.

A good low cost instrument

For what I paid, i cannot complain. The LU-21T sounds okay, was adjusted very nicely right out of the box and seems to be constructed well. I know that if I wanted a superlative instrument, i would have paid 5 to 10 times what this cost. Someday I would like to get one of those better ukes, but for now, this one serves well.

Review The Lanikai LU-21T (Tenor)

As in the past, I am very pleased with the service i receive from Sweetwater (Chris Lewis). My wife loves the candy included in each shipment. Oh Yeah, the Ukulele -- This is my first ukulele, and I am still getting used to it. This is a good instrument. However, I have trouble barring the first fret. The metal fret bars are so low that I cannot hold all strings down without one either thunking or buzzing. I play guitar and use barred chords all the time. Still, I remain pleased with the instrument.

UKE value

This was a gift for a friend. I have one just like it and find it to be a great intro to the uke.
