I have never owned a uke before this one, so I can't say much about the materials used in construction as compared to something else, but it does feel like quality and plays very well. I've been a gui... read more [+]tarist for around 15 years or so, and this was easy to pick up and very fun. It will take a bit of time to get the strings adjusted to stay in tune. I just keep a Snark tuner on the headstock and tune it up everytime I pick it up, no big deal. I see no problems at all with this uke besides having to tune it up often, but that is common with ukes , from what I've seen and read,. I think this one is well worth the price and fun and easy to carry around. close [-]
