The Chandler Limited LTD-1 is a hand-wired, handcrafted 10-series preamp/equalizer utilizing parts and build techniques from the original manufacturer (that would be Neve). The Neve 1073, of course, is the stuff of audio legend. In the LTD-1, Chandler Limited has, as usual, obsessed themselves with grounding, wiring techniques, original transformers, transistors, and inductors in their quest to give you the sonic spittin' image of the vintage original. Like the rest of the famous Chandler Limited hand-wired 10-series, the Chandler Limited LTD-1 equalizer and preamplifier not only gives you the sound of the classic original, it also features the same transformers, transistors, inductors, and wiring techniques used to make it. (That may be your first clue as to how they achieve the jaw-dropping results.)

How do you improve upon the most sought-after preamp/EQ of all time?
In addition to classic 10-series sound, Chandler Limited juiced the LTD-1 with all the modern functionality you need. They expanded the EQ section, giving you a much larger palate to choose from. Additional features include a front-panel high-impedance DI, 48v switching, an output fader, EQ in/out, phase reversal, balanced mic in, balanced line in, an overbuilt power supply to ensure max headroom, and the aforementioned nine additional EQ points.

Vintage goodness - with additional modern flexibility
Unlike the original Neve 1073, the Chandler Limited LTD-1 offers a wide variety of frequency settings (nine more total additional EQ points), giving you incredible tonal flexibility and control over your sound. For many of us who have been fortunate enough to record through vintage Neve consoles, that sound is the standard by which all other gear is measured. A little more flexibility would have been nice, though. That wish is reality now, thanks to Chandler Limited.
