I like subs. Got this to go with my LSR 4328's. I have several consumer subs (home theater audio), and this sub just blows them out of the water. This thing has a lot more low notes, but the sound is ... read more [+]very tight. Granted, it also costs 3-5x as much. I really want to put it right in front of my face at ear level, because a lot of the sound coming from it is directional, but I need to have my computer monitor(s) front and center. I looked at a lot of pictures and didn't see anyone with a sub at ear level. I really think it would sound fantastic. I could also turn it down a little and maybe minimize the effect of mixing in a bad room. close [-]

Ron DanielI recently added this sub to my studio's LSR speaker setup, and what a great addition it was! At the touch of a button, I'm now able to A/B with and without sub, as well as connect LFEs for DVD mixes. Certainly, my LSR4326s sound great on their own, but this was a great "next step" for my studio! I highly recommend it as "phase two" for your mixing environment.
